Six people were injured, including a 5 -year -old girl, in a “mass shooting” in a Baltimore neighborhood on Saturday night, police said.
The shots exploded shortly before 8:50 pm, since people near the intersection of Spaulding and Queensberry avenues gathered outside to eat, said Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley, journalists at a press conference on Saturday night.
The 5 -year -old girl was beaten in her hand. “Fortunately, it does not seem that your injury is very serious,” said Worley.

A man is in a critical condition and undergoes surgery, he added.
The ages of the other victims vary from 23 to 52, he said.
Police have not published any detail about the alleged shooter or shooters.
“We have little information at this time. All we know is that there are several rounds, multiple victims,” said Worley.
He said that people had gathered outside and were eating crabs. “And it seems that someone has just opened fire,” he said.
