Arrested 17 years after 3 people fired in Times Square

A 17 -year -old was arrested after allegedly shooting three people in Times Square at dawn on Saturday, police said.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:20 AM in 44th Street and 7th Avenue when, he believes that the police, the 17 -year -old suspect was involved in a dispute with a 19 -year -old boy before they shot, according to the New York Police Department.

Three people were shot, a 19 -year -old man on his right foot, a 65 -year -old man in the left leg and an 18 -year -old woman who was grazing in the neck, but all the victims were taken to the Bellevue hospital where they remain in stable condition, New York police said.

The authorities said it is not clear what the dispute was and if the victims and the suspect are known to each other.

A total of three shots were fired and the firearm used in the incident recovered at the scene.

The charges are pending and the research on the shooting remains open.
