A federal judge determined on Monday that the Efficient Department of the Government of Elon Musk should be subject to the Law of Freedom of Information, delivering a victory to an independent surveillance group that sought to shed light on the budget slope agency.

The executive orders of President Donald Trump, his public statements about Doge and the “substantial authority of the agency on the vast stripes of the federal government” were enough to demonstrate to Judge Cooper that the group should be subject to Foia, which gives the public the right to access the federal government records.
The ruling could open the door to the public, the entities of the media and non -profit organizations to start accessing the records to better understand the unprecedented influence of Dege throughout the federal government.
